Post Love 2012
My current project right now. Post Love is an event that takes place anywhere and anywhere. This year’s event is from the 12th to the 18th.  It’s a week to perform Random Acts of Kindness and to remind people that they’re loved, respected, and beautiful individuals. It’s really simple. You can open a door for someone, say “Hello”, or just smile. I’m...

ART X BIO: EXAM EDITION
I’m putting my personal projects on hold and creating a project out of my favourite way to study for Biology: ART X BIO. ART X BIO is illustrating all of the biology units in a way that helps me re-learn all the concepts, content, and jargon while communicating it to people who happen to flip through my sketchbook. It’s a way to see the curriculum interpreted through visual media and...

Hello New Year (yes I know it’s the 2nd) Hello tired old me turning the page, yet another blank page. Thinking of taking some time to be digitally abstinent for a bit. I need to focus on school work and sketching.  DIGITAL DETOX

One of the scariest parts of drawing biology illustrations, is knowing that whatever it is that I’m drawing was once alive or is alive. Currently working on a Daphnia lab (Daphnia are water fleas) and remembering that we had to draw the Daphnia from the microscope. It’s so sad to say that it would have been much easier to draw a deceased Daphnia than a live one. I hated having to draw...

Still working away on the heart. I’ve managed to move onto the atria (inner chambers of the heart). Right now, I’m using my personal favourite studying technique for biology: ART X BIO, illustrating everything you know about the unit In a way it’s like a stream of consciousness but with a bit of referring to notes and text. Promise to post more when my schedule isn’t as...

Information is not knowledge
If knowledge is power that information would be the bullets in your arsenal. If you don’t know how to control your power, you’ll shoot yourself in the foot or elsewhere. Don’t have any information? Power is nothing. You need both information and knowledge, but you need to know how to use them. Get your facts straight. Learn how to communicate. Be informed.

One page left in my current sketchbook. It’ll be officially 2 months at 7:56 PM tomorrow (OCD much?)! So I PROMISE to update tomorrow. Everything that’s been going on will be posted, well almost everything. It looks like I’ll have a lot of NSFW tags since I took up nude drawing for a bit. I’ll try to go back to portraits again as I upsize to 8.5” x 11”. NOTE:...
